Sharing with your organization

As a user inside an organization, you have access to the organization’s WorkData and ProcessingSteps. However, it is often necessary to move data between your user account and the organization. WorkData has convenience functions to copy it in either direction. For instance, the following snippet copies WorkData from the user to the organization “my_org”.

workdata = WorkData.from_url(client, "<url>")
new_worklink = workdata.copy_to_org("my_org")
new_workdata = WorkData.from_url(client, new_worklink.get_url())

Copying WorkData from your organization to your user is done similarly, with workdata.copy_to_user().

ProcessingSteps cannot be copied between a user and an organization (the copy actions were removed in JMA 2.0.0). To make a step available to your organization, deploy it under the organization instead, using an API key of the organization. See Deploying a Step.
